Your images stay on your Mac.

Image Resizer reads only the files and folders you select and writes resized copies to the chosen output folder. The original files are not replaced.

Image content is processed locally. There are no accounts, cloud image uploads or image-content telemetry.

You can preserve useful image metadata while removing GPS location data. GPS removal is enabled by default.

The app connects to the public GitHub release repository to check for and download updates through Sparkle. Resizing itself does not require a network connection.

This website has no Image Resizer account system, contact form, advertising tracker or app-owned analytics. Its hosting provider may process standard web-request information needed to deliver the site.

Image Resizer is not Apple-notarized. macOS therefore requires a one-time confirmation before first launch.

The release is independently distributed and uses Sparkle update signatures. A Sparkle signature or SHA-256 checksum verifies release integrity; neither is a substitute for Apple notarization.
